Have you ever wondered what it would feel like to be able to swim like a dolphin, effortlessly gliding through the water at high speed? Well if so, you might want to have a go at Finswimming!

Having never been big game fishing before, I didn't really know what to expect. Also, being limited for time was a 5 hour trip enough?

Location- Ladye bay just outside of Bristol.
Aim- To catch a Cod, which had been fairly scarce up to this date.

Knowing that the Cod weren't really showing but eager to get a bait in the water, I decided to head to the channel and fish for the strap conger.

Dogfish are one of those fish that are always obliging in the summer months, even when everything else seems to have disappeared. So with this in mind and Alastair (a beginner in the art of sea fishing) wanting to have a go we decided we would target them at Blue Anchor Bay in Somerset.

Reighton sands is a long sandy beach on the north Yorkshire coastline, just north of Bridlington. Would the Flounders be there?

The north coast of Wales is a great place to catch flounders and whilst staying at Shell Island campsite which is situated between Barmouth and Llandanwg on the north west coast I decided to give them a go.

After hearing reports of grayling being caught from my local stretch on the river Avon and having never caught one before I just had to give it a go. This was not the first time I had attempted to catch one of these illusive fish, but with good information I felt if I was ever going to catch one it would be now!

Tope are technically sharks and you can catch them along the coast of the UK. This time we visit the Somerset coast to search of this amazing fish.

Whist watching a truly amazing freediving video starring Guillaume Nery, I found myself actually holding my breath with him. How did he do it? How do people hold their breath for so long? I thought it was about time to find out, so I headed down to Kingswood Leisure centre in Bristol for a taster session with the Bristol Freedivers.
