Precision often means the difference between success and failure, especially when you are at the top of your sport.
The following videos from Remington are part of their advertising campaign to explain the link between the precision needed to do extreme sports well, and the precision their touch control beard trimmer offers to shave precisely. The videos offer an insight into the psyche of some of the guys in the extreme sports world, who are at the top of their game, and they have some pretty cool footage in them too! Worth watching if you have a beard or not!
Parkour is one of those particular sports where every move has to be judged exactly right, to allow you to navigate through the urban playground without incident. Being slightly out could have disastrous effects. In the following video, you will see one of the originators of the sport, David Belle’s, using his many years of honing techniques to such a precise way, he makes the moves look effortless.
The same idea extends to the snowboarding video Remington have released starring free-riding snowboarder Johno Verity. This guy has to get his lines right in such extreme terrain, and some of the footage in the video is awesome. The backdrop is stunning and you get to see Johno lining things up and checking things out, just as it really happens.
Remington have realised the link between having a precise trim or cut and the precision that people desire in extreme sports. People who demand precision in sport often demand precision in life in general. Being precise is important in many of the extreme activities I take part in, and precision in life can only be a good thing!
