BathtubbingWednesday September 08 2010

We have a go at Bathtubbing, part of the World Alternative Games line-up. It's not as easy as you might think, but a whole lot of fun!

The RNLI explains how best to stay safe on UK shores this summer. Including how to spot a rip current and what to do if you get stuck in one, safety advice on watersports and general advice about the sea.

The World Bog Snorkelling Championship has been running for over 20 years and attracts competitors from all over the world. It takes place in a bog on the outskirts of Llanwrtyd Wells on the August Bank Holiday Monday.

Bog snorkelling has become a world famous event with many participants travelling from the far corners of the globe to take part. After watching the 2006 championships, myself, Alastair and Louise all decided to go and take part to see what it was all about.

Huanchaco is a small fishing village on the north-central coast of Peru, just north of Trujillo. It's a quiet place which is especially known for its unique fishing vessels, the "Caballitos de Tortora", or little horses of reeds.

Canyoning, Gorge Scrambling or Ghyll Scrambling can give you just the buzz you need!

Navigating the cornish coast the exciting way! Louise Towler gives us an insight in to coasteering at Lusty Glaze.

Coasteering is one of those activities which I have been told about many times but never quite got around to doing. So when I saw Exmoor Adventures had a deal on, I quickly filled the four remaining spots with four very willing Coasteering virgins, Paul Worgan, DJ, Olly Christian and myself Tristan Bawn, who were all very eager to get in to the sea.
